DUBAI- Emirates (EK), the world’s largest operator of the Airbus A380, will deploy the double-decker aircraft to 48 destinations during July, operating up to 69 daily departures from its hub at Dubai International Airport (DXB).
The carrier has scheduled 2,139 A380 flights for the month, though the figures remain subject to change as the ongoing conflict in the Middle East continues to affect regional operations. Emirates is gradually restoring the type to several routes, including a return to Copenhagen Airport (CPH), Munich Airport (MUC), Manchester Airport (MAN), and London Gatwick Airport (LGW), Simple Flying reported.
Emirates A380 Routes in July 2026
Emirates plans to operate 2,139 flights with the Airbus A380 throughout July, spreading the aircraft across 48 destinations worldwide. This results in as many as 69 departures from Dubai each day.
Several routes remain unaffected, but the situation in the Middle East has led the airline to reduce capacity and frequency on certain services.
Year-on-year data shows that scheduled A380 operations for July sit around 15% below the levels Emirates flew in July 2025. The airline is steadily recovering, returning the aircraft to more routes as demand allows.
Compared with its June schedule, Emirates is bringing the A380 back to four routes in July. These cover daily services from Dubai to Copenhagen, Munich, Manchester, and London Gatwick. For Manchester and Gatwick, however, capacity remains well below pre-crisis levels.
London and Manchester Face the Largest Cuts
A number of routes have seen A380 frequencies reduced or the type swapped for smaller equipment such as the Boeing 777 or the airline’s newer Airbus A350-900. The two markets affected most heavily are London and Manchester.
Emirates has operated six daily A380 services to London Heathrow Airport (LHR) for years, alongside two daily A380 flights to Gatwick, supported by 777s and A350s.
While the airline should have run ten flights across both London airports during June, with eight on the A380, it operated only eight daily flights, of which four used the A380, all to Heathrow. In July, the schedule holds at eight daily flights, with six now operated by the A380, five to Heathrow, and one to Gatwick.
Manchester previously received three daily A380 services, and the carrier even secured slots for a fourth that it never used. The airline operated no A380 flights to Manchester in June. For July, it will deploy the type once per day, with the remaining two services handled by the Boeing 777-300ER.
Where Emirates Will Fly the A380 in July
Most A380 routes see a single daily service, often supported by additional flights on smaller aircraft. Routes with double or triple daily A380 operations form a much shorter list, and services with more than three daily A380s remain largely limited to London Heathrow and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK).
